Brecon Beacons of South Wales by Alex Dudley
I have visited the Beacons once before where I was greeted with low cloud and an unrelenting rain carried by fierce winds. I obviously still made the hike up to the top of the ridge in hopes that I would rise above the bad weather. Unfortunately, the weather worsened and my camera was kept firmly under my jacket. I left feeling defeated but vowed to return.
This time around South Wales had decided I had earned the right to the stunning views. Getting up and stumbling to the summit in the dark for sunrise was completely worth it. The day break revealed the vastness of the Beacons which left me in awe of this National Park.
