Somewhere, Nowhere

Through winter landscapes of Iceland — cold, quiet, vast, and majestic — Somewhere, Nowhere seeks to represent how, even in the cold and in the void, beauty and meaning can emerge. It’s a statement that light always returns; more colorful and radiant than ever, and more precious for having been long gone. It’s a story about a journey from nowhere toward somewhere again.

All pictures were shot on Kodak 120 film with a Mamiya 645 during cold January in Iceland, 2025. I handprinted the pictures in the darkroom during that same year, scanned the prints and included them in this volume. The book was printed in Barcelona in October 2025, and published in Madrid in December the same year.
